My name is Mayra Garcia and I go by May. I am a first-generation Mexican American student. I started my college experience at Lonestar College where I completed my core classes, I then transferred to the University of Houston in the Fall of 2021. I am majoring in strategic communications and minoring at the Center of Mexican American and Latino Studies. My passion consists of finding creative and artistic outlets like photography, filming, makeup, styling outfits, scrapbooking, etc. My goal is to lead a mindful life, travel, create, and make memorable memories.
