Home to the Mexican American History mural, the Heritage Society presents and preserves Houston’s history through use of collections, galleries, exhibits, educational programs, film, video, and other means. It has also ensured the safety of 11 historical buildings in the Houston area. These buildings hold some 23,000 artifacts that document Houston’s history dating back to the 1800's.
