Astros Mural @ Minute Maid Park
Astros Mural @ Minute Maid Park
The mural by Alex Roman, Jr. [Donkeeboy], shows players doing the "Astros stare" next to the team's 2017 World Series trophy. This bright orange installation features Nolan Ryan in his Astros rainbow unis, Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell, Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, and George Springer. According to the artist, he and two student assistants from the Art Institute of Houston worked on the piece for six days while the team was on the road, finishing up just eight hours before the unveiling.
