Julia Barbosa Landois

Julia Barbosa Landois is a multidisciplinary artist, born in San Antonio, TX and now based in Houston. Her work has been featured in galleries, museums, and performance festivals in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Her awards include grants from Artpace, the Artist Foundation of San Antonio, and the National Association of Latino Arts & Cultures. She has been an artist-in-residence at the Santa Fe Art Institute, Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, and Lawndale Art Center. Barbosa Landois' art practice has been enriched by her work as a professor, exhibitions coordinator, grant writer, and community educator.
