Nature art installation

During a four-month stay in a mountain cabin in the heart of Amish country in Pennsylvania I found myself creating an impromptu art installation.

Utilizing an antique wooden loom and reclaimed yarn many pieces were weaved and assembled together.

The trees standing in a tranquil forest were used as my canvas while all pieces were carefully wrapped around them, revealing the beauty of what was already there.

After weeks of working in harmony with my surroundings it was time to present the installation to the community and Amish families came with their kids to enjoy this art-enchanted forest for months to come and until nature took its course.
