Inside St. Arnold’s Brewery people can enjoy ales, lagers, fine dining—such as original artwork from Carlos Hernández who designed the Santo print that was used on the Texas beer, “Santo.” The work of Houston-based serigraphy artist Carlos Hernández has been showcased through a variety of gallery shows and projects that include the music industry, restaurant and retail design, and corporate work. Carlos is a founding partner of Burning Bones Press, a full-service printmaking studio located in the Houston Heights and has served as an instructor of Screen Printing at Rice University, Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts. Hernández also has a following for his “Day of the Dead Rock Star” paintings.

St. Arnold’s hired artists to design the labels for its seasonal brews, to fill the tasting room and brewery compound with murals, and to create a fleet of more than 20 art cars.

Saint Arnold’s Beer Garden and Restaurant, located adjacent to the brewery at 2000 Lyons, gives local artists yet another canvas. The building’s center is flanked by six alcoves with dramatic vaulted ceilings where six Houston talents are displayed (carte blanche). The artists include: Carlos Hernandez, Gonzo 247, Nick Papas, Robynn Sanders, Matt Schott and Jeffrey Szymanski.



Saint Arnold Brewing Company is Texas' Oldest Craft Brewery. Founded by Brock Wagner and Kevin Bartol, the St Arnold’s crew does everything at the brewery: brew the beer, filter the beer, keg the beer, bottle the beer, sell the beer and drink the beer. St Arnolds is also known for its charitable giving to the Houston community.
