Luisa Fernanda Perez moved to Houston from Ciudad Juárez, México to pursue her master’s degree in Art History at the University of Houston. Her research interests include Latinx art, engaged pedagogy, artivism, and neurodivergence in art. Among Luisa’s favorite activities in Houston are eating Cochinita Pibil from Merida Restaurant, trying a new drink at Saint Arnold’s, and checking out new art exhibitions around the city.
