Norma Zenteno

Upon receiving her first electric guitar from her father at the age of 11, Norma Zenteno began writing and performing her own music. Norma sang jazz, latin, funked-up fusion, and rock and roll in both English and Spanish. Her band included her brothers, Javier, Bobby and Ernie and they had a regular Thursday gig at Sambuca for years. Despite early acclaim and opportunities to take her music national, Norma Zenteno was happy to remain in Houston.
